Presentation of the Ibn Sina Foundation’s activities took place in Biblio-Globus

On February 27, a presentation of the Ibn Sina Foundation’s activities was held in the Biblio-Globus book store with the support of the Omar Khayyam cultural and literary association.

The speakers included Hamid Hadavimogaddam (President of the Ibn Sina Foundation), Kazem Jalali (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran), Andrey Smirnov (director of the RAS Institute of Philosophy, RAS academician), Yanis Eshots (editor-in-chief of the Ishrak yearbook for Islamic philosophy), Vasiliy Kuznetsov (head of the Department of Arab and Islamic studies of the RAS Institute of Oriental Studies), Boris Esenkin (director of the Biblio-Globus trade house), Seyyed Naser Tabai (general director of the Sadra publishing house). Andrey Lukashev, research director of the Ibn Sina Foundation, presented the results of the Foundation’s activities for 2019.

The presentation participants noted the diversity of the Foundation’s  activities, as well as the significance of its contribution to the development of academic research on Islamic culture.
