Results of the Ibn Sina Foundation's participation in the International Fair of Intellectual Literature non/fictio№23

On December 2-6, 2021, the International Intellectual Literature Fair, non/fictio№23 took place at Gostiny Dvor. More than 300 publishers and booksellers from 18 countries participated in the event.

The Ibn Sina foundation and the Sadra publishing house presented their books at the non/fictioN fair for the 13th time. This year the following editions attracted readers’ attention: "Iran. From Cyrus the Great to Ayatollah Khomeini" by A.B. Gromov, "Her Self" by Reza Amirkhani (3rd edition), "Nasir Khusraw and His Philosophical Views" by T.G. Korneeva (2nd edition), "The Works of Imam al-Ghazali" by A.A. Hismatulin (2nd edition), "The Man of Light in Iranian Sufism" by Henri Corbin, and children’s books from the "Shekarestan" series.

Book presentations and meetings with authors, translators and editors took place at the Foundation booth B-17.

The translator of Seyedd Salman Safavi's book “Mulla Sadra: Life and Philosophy”' R.V. Pskhu and the author of the monograph 'Nasir Khusraw and His Philosophical Views' T.G. Korneyeva delivered their speeches on December 2.

On December 3 there was a video presentation of I.R. Saitbattalov's work "Bulgarian chronicles, or Approaching ['Ali] Gari”.

On December 4 N.T. Nurulla-Khojaeva spoke about the book "Upbringing and Education from the Perspective of Muslim Thinkers. Imam Muhammad al-Ghazali. Volume 3". On the same day, A. B. Gromov together with Kazem Jalali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation, presented the new book "Iran. From Cyrus the Great to Ayatollah Khomeini".

Many distinguished guests came to the booth of the Ibn Sina Foundation, including O. V. Akulinichev, head of the Hayyam Cultural Centre and D. V. Mukhetdinov, head of the Medina Publishing House. The Foundation was also mentioned in a report prepared by Iranian journalists.

Textbook by M.L. Reisner and A.N. Ardashnikova "The Persian Literature in the 9th-18th centuries. Volume 2: Persian Literature in the 13th-18th Centuries. Late Classics" was included in the top list of non/fictio№23.
