Typology study of Qur'anic stories by Seyed Abu'l-Qasem Husseini is out of print

"Typology of the Qur'anic stories (revealing their realistic, symbolic and mythological aspects" is a work written by Seyed Abu'l-Qasem Husseini, a well-known contemporary Iranian writer, scholar, translator and poet. The purpose of the research is to determine to what extend the Qur’anic stories refer to the historical reality and what is the role of symbolic and mythological elements in these stories.

The edition was prepared in the context of cooperation between the International Islamic Research Centre of the RAS Museum of anthropology and  ethnography and the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation (Moscow), with the support of the RAS Museum of anthropology and  ethnography (Kunstkamera) and the RAS Institute of Oriental Studies.

The work complemented the "Qur'anic series" of the Ibn Sina Foundation launched in 2008.
