A theological almanac, dedicated to conducting an iterfaith dialogue and maintaining the highest intellectual values of Islam and Christianity is primarily addressing Christians and Muslims of Russia. This edition is not ecumenical and it is not dedicated to reaching a dogmatic unanimity between the two great religions. Rather its goal - to demonstrate, with the help of theological, cultural and historical materials, that, while asserting its confessional identity, Christians and Muslims stand against secularization and misrepresentation of spirituality. The fact that both religions protect the Divine in each person makes them important allies in today's world, which is only possible in the presence of essential unity. Indeed both Christianity and Islam are the oecumenical religions, which appeal to all people, regardless of their ethnic or racial background.

The periodical consists of columns, dedicated to theological interviews, Christian orthodox and Islamic traditions. The first issue elaborates on such matters, as 'The Global Union of Russia and Islamic World' (V. Averyanov), 'Metochion of the Sinai monastery in Cairo' (A. Umanets). 'Theological interviews…' (N. Seleznev), 'Conversations of a Saracen with a Christian' (G. Benevich), and is accompanied by materials on an authentic Christian and Moslem texts research and many other.

The periodical of Christian- Muslim dialogue “Jewel of Faith” gives to its authors and readers the possibility to participate in the intellectual conversation between the two largest world religions. The founders of the journal proclaimed the purity of intentions, honesty, openness, and a sincere desire to understand one's opponent to be the main principles of such communication.
