With the support of the Islamic Culture Research Foundation a publishing house 'Istok' published Muhammad Jaliliyan's book 'Islam and Development'.

The work is concerned with problems of modern society development.

The author answers twenty questions, mainly dealing with economical and spiritual state of Islamic community, to reveal all possible meanings of the word 'development'. Special attention is given to the economy and spirituality of the Muslim population.
