On October, the 28^th, a conference “Islamic Philosophy and Philosophic Islamology: development and interaction” took place at the Institute of Philosophy in Moscow. The conference was organized by joint efforts of the Institute of Philosophy of Russian Academy of Science and the Islamic Culture Research Foundation.

This book by an established scholar, Dr. 'Ali Akbar Velayati, an adviser to Iranian spiritual leader, is the history of Islamic civilization.

Under the Islamic Culture Research Foundation project, and with its financial support, the first volume of Arabic manuscripts catalog is about to be released.  

The second issue of the yearbook of Islamic philosophy “Ishraq” (“Illumination”)

contains more than thirty articles in Russian, English and French, devoted to a wide

range of issues, current in Islamic philosophical thought, written by the leading Russian

and foreign experts in the field.

The Islamic Culture Research Foundation took part in 12th international book festival “Non/ fiction” that took place in a Central House of Artist (Moscow, Krymskiy val, 10) and continued from the 1st till the 5th of December.

 On December 2009, the 2-6^th, the Islamic Culture Research Foundation took part in the 11^th international exhibition of intellectual literature “Non/fiction” that took place in the Central Artist Dome (Moscow, Krymsky val, 10).
