A wonderful, beautifully illustrated book was published with the assistance of the Islamic Culture Research Foundation for the Iranian New Year. The book describes Nowruz – a bright holiday that unites many nations.
It should be noted that this edition opens a new series of the “Sadra” publishing house, which is called “Culture and traditions”.
Bahare Sazmand describes a whole range of rites inherent to Nowruz celebration in different countries influenced by Iranian culture, providing analysis for similar and distinct features of spring festivals in different nations. The book also contains some solutions regarding integration processes based on cultural and historical affinity of the Middle East region and the Central Asia.
The book is intended for a wide range of readers.
