Having noticed the immense interest of Russian readers in Iranian fiction, the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation decided to translate the best examples of Iranian prose. For this end it established the “Iranian best-seller” book series. Such novels like “Her Ego” by Reza Amir-Khani, “The Dead of The Green Garden” by Mohammed Reza Bairami, “Chess with the Doomsday Machine” by Habib Ahmad-zadeh, “Journey to the Heading 270 Degrees” by Habib Dekhcan, “The last Salar” by Mohammad-Kazem Mazinani and “Nahid” by Shahriyar Zamani were translated and published as a part of this series.
