Victims of the Sacred Garden

Abstract

The novel “Victims of the Sacred Garden” tells the story of the People’s Republic of Azerbaijan that existed on the territory of Iran in 1945–1946.

This book is as close to reality as a mountain leopard to the crescent up in the sky. All events, places, names and characters mentioned in it are made up, even though they might seem real and despite the fact that history remembers them under the very same names.
