In 2016 the Sadra publishing house with the support of the Islamic Culture Research Foundation and in cooperation with the Culture and Art Research Institute under the Ministry of Culture and Islamic orientation of Iran launched a new remarkable book series called “Culture and traditions”.
Two books have already been published in this series so far. The first one is devoted to the traditions of welcoming the spring in different cultures. This book was written by Bahare Sazmand and is entitled “Nowruz: a festival that unites peoples”.
The second book, “Prophet figures in cinema” by Seyeda Raziyi Yasini, analyses the differences between Western and Iranian films featuring prophets as main characters.
