With the support of the Islamic Culture Research Foundation the Sadra publishing house issued the second edition of the “Islamic law: study guide” book that completed the “Economics and law” series.
The book contains 74 lessons on Islamic law according to the fatwas of ayatollah Sayyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei. The lessons cover main aspects of the Islamic law, such as ritual purity (taharat), prayer (salah), fasting etc.
The translator N.A. Zeynalov cited relevant ayahs and hadiths in some lessons, so that the readers could become familiar with the original sources. He also provided comments in the footnotes or in the text where necessary. For the readers’ convenience the book contains a glossary of the terms related to Islamic law.
