This issue reveals the diversity of Islam in different regions of Russia (Central European region, Northern Caucasus, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Astrakhan region), Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan), Azerbaijan. The articles cover various topics: personalities, places of worship, architectural sites, terminology, ancient manuscripts, rites etc.
