Abstract
This unique photo album represents an illustrated history of the Muslim community of the Soviet Petrograd–Leningrad. The pictures taken in Leningrad’s suburbs and in the Leningrad region deserve special attention. The album includes photo materials from public and private archives, which naturally complement each other and allow us to see the history of the Muslim community not only through the eyes of the photographer but also through the eyes of believers. The majority of photos has been published for the first time.
