A lecture course on contemporary Persian literature is going to be held in Moscow for the first time. Mohammad Reza Movahhedi, member of the Institute of Humanities and Cultural Studies (Tehran), expert in contemporary Persian literature, will familiarize Russian experts in Iranian studies, literary critics and everyone interested with the state of literature in the 20th century in Iran. In particular, he will speak about the literature that appeared in Iran after the Islamic revolution in 1979. This period of the Persian literature development, which is little known in Russia, reflects the life of the modern Iran.
