A meeting between Hadavimogaddam Hamid Reza, president of the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation, and Damir Muhetdinov, principal of the Moscow Islamic Institute, took place on 16 April. The parties signed an agreement on cooperation in the educational, academic and innovative fields.
The Moscow Islamic Institute and the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation already have the experience of working together. They published books together, participated in joint projects, workshops, conferences and exhibitions. But from 2019 onward they decided to take their cooperation to a new level.
The agreement implies working together on a number of projects, such as conducting research works, implementing joint educational programmes, publishing academic and non-fiction literature, preparing study guides, developing teaching and learning aids for educational courses, training courses and other joint projects.
During the meeting the parties exchanged memorable gifts — the Islamic books published under the auspices of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation
The meeting was also attended by Andrey Lukashev, research director of the Ibn Sina Foundation, and Rinat Ibragimov, head of the MII International Department.
