Verbal arrangement made between Ibn Sina Foundation and Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy

During the last visit to the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, which took place on 18 July 2019, Hamid Hamavimogaddam (President of the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation) and Seyed Nasser Tabai (Vice-president of the Foundation) met Alexey Shaburov, president of the Association of private museums of Russia, director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy. They reached a verbal agreement on cooperation in the field of visual arts.

The directors of the Foundation donated to the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy two works of Dr. Naser Tawoosi, a famous Iranian calligrapher: a Qur’anic surah written with the “Iranian naskh” script, and a poem written with the ruka’a script. Mr Hadavimogaddam and Mr Tabai also gifted to Alexey Shaburov a diglot edition of the Qur’an prepared with the support of the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation, where the Arabic texts is accompanied by a Russian translation.
