The Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation, with the assistance of the Cultural Representative Office of the Embassy of Iran in the Russian Federation, donated some books published by the Sadra publishing house to the library of the Department of Iranian Studies and Persian Language of the Institute for Oriental and Classical Studies of the Higher School of Economics. The donation included works related to Iranian studies and Islamic studies, translations of fiction books, as well as art albums.
Thanks to this donation, the library of the Department of Iranian Studies and Persian Language now features a selection of editions of the “Ishraq” Islamic philosophy yearbook, the Russian translation of “Persophony” by B. Fragner, the album “Iranian Calligraphy” by H.R. Kelichkhani, the collection of articles “Ars Islamica” dedicated to S.M. Prozorov, as well as studies on Persian literature, Islamic law, numerous translations of modern Persian prose, and other books.
The Institute for Oriental and Classical Studies expressed its gratitude to Mr. Kahraman Soleymani (head of the Cultural Representative Office of Iran in the Russian Federation), Mr. Hamid Hadavi (head of the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation), Mr. Seyed Nasser Tabai (general director of the Sadra publishing house), and Mr. Majid Abolhasani (head of the Education Department of the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation).
