Abstract
We would like to draw our readers’ attention to a work written by Professor Seyed Salman Safavi, a famous Iranian author, president of the London Academy of Iranian studies, practicing Sufi and editor-in-chief of the “Transcendental Philosophy” magazine. The work is dedicated to the great Safavi thinker Mulla Sadra (1571–1636). The author describes his main works and ideas and analyses the basic concepts of his religious and philosophical teaching. The edition is intended for all those interested in the intellectual history and culture of Iran and Islamic world.
