The Ibn Sina Foundation presented its books at the booth of the Sadra publishing house within the framework of the 1st Russian National Book Festival “Tarki-Tau 2021”. The following editions attracted the visitors’ particular attention: “The Persian Literature in the 9th-18th centuries”, “The Works of Imam al-Ghazali”, “A World of Meanings in a Few Words”.
Andrey Lukashev, research director of the Ibn Sina Foundation, presented the books published by the Sadra publishing house in the Historical Park “Russia – My History” (Makhachkala). He also presented new joint projects of the Ibn Sina Foundation and the RAS Institute of Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Dagestan State University. Andrey Lukashev familiarized the faculty and students of the DSU with new works on the history of Islamic philosophy and briefed them on the major activities of the Foundation. The meeting was organised by Professor M.I. Bilalov, head of the Department of Ontology and Gnoseology. The meeting was also attended by M.Yahyayev, dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Philosophy, and I. Akhmedov, deputy dean for academic affairs, as well as professors and students.
On Saturday, December 11, the audience was shown the documentary film “Tochka” (The Dot).
