On June 6, the 4-day book festival “Red Square – 2022” came to an end. It was the 6th time that the Sadra publishing house together with the Ibn Sina Foundation participated in the event.
The publishing house’s stand, which was located in the non/fiction zone, showcased a wide range of books, including the new publications of 2022. The visitors showed a great interest in the books on the cultural heritage of Iran: “Iran. From Cyrus the Great to Ayatollah Khomeini” by A. Gromov, “Hafiz. One Hundred Ghazals” (poetic translation by I. Abramenko and V. Zharkova), “The Contemporary Iran. Song Culture. Textbook on the Persian language for 2nd-year university students ( by I. Abramenko)”.
The awards ceremony for the winners of the “Best Books of 2021” competition organised by the Publishers Association of Russia took place on June, 3. The two-volume edition “Persian Literature of the 9th-18th centuries” published by the Sadra publishing house won a prize in the “Best educational book” nomination.
