The Ibn Sina Foundation and the Sadra publishing house participated in the Moscow International Book Fair for the 13th time.
This year the Fair took place on September 2-5 at Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. The visitors who came to the stand of the Ibn Sina Foundation and the Sadra publishing house showed a great interest in the following works: “Iran. From Cyrus the Great to Ayatollah Khomeini” by A. Gromov; “Hafiz. A Hundred Ghazals” (poetic translation by V.S. Zharkova, I.V. Abramenko); “The Bulgarian Chronicles, or Approaching [‘Ali] Gari” by M.-‘A. Chukuri, and ‘A. Basaravi; collection of articles “The Unity of Beauty” (edited by M.J.Nazarli) and children’s books of the “Shekarestan” series.
During the fair our stand was also visited by Mrs. Behnaz Zarabizade, the author of “The Hero’s Wife” and “Golestan 11”, which have been translated from Persian into Russian and published in the “Military Prose” series of the Sadra publishing house.
The Moscow International Book Fair is the biggest annual event in the book world. MIBF 2022 was attended by more than 300 publishing houses from various regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China. More than 350 events were held at Gostiny Dvor.
