On December 1-5, 2022, the International Intellectual Literature Fair, non/fictio№24 took place at Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. The Ibn Sina foundation and the Sadra publishing house presented their books for the 14th time in a row.
This year the readers expressed their interest in the following books: “Iran. From Cyrus the Great to Ayatollah Khomeini” by A. B. Gromov (poetic translation by V. S. Zharkova) and “Hafiz. One Hundred Ghazals”, the novel “Her Self” by Reza Amirkhani (3rd edition), and both volumes of the textbook “The Persian Literature of the 9-18th Centuries” by M.L. Reisner and A.N. Ardashnikova.
On December 3, presentations were delivered at the Foundation’s stand (B-17). A.A. Lukashev, the Foundation’s research director, spoke about the new publications and activities of the Ibn Sina Foundation in 2022. F.O. Nofal, deputy research director of the Foundation, presented some books on philosophy and spoke about the “Philosophical Thought of Islamic World» series. I.V. Abramenko spoke about the works she translated, such as “Hafiz. One Hundred Ghazals” and “The Heroes of Stalingrad” by Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Tabrizi,as well as the textbook on the Persian language for the 2nd year students ” The Contemporary Iran. The stand of the Ibn Sina Foundation attracted numerous visitors, including journalists from an Iranian TV channel who prepared a report on our activities.
The book “Persian Language and Literature in Daghestan (Cultural and Historical Context)” by P. M. Alibekova was included in list best non/fictio№24 books for adult readers, and a collection of parables “A Visit to the Padishah (Based on “Bustan” by Saadi, interpreted by Sepideh Khalili)” was featured among the best children’s books.
