A textbook on the Iranian literature of the 20th-21st centuries has been published. It contains two volumes: the first one is dedicated to Iranian prose, and the second one provides information on Iranian poetry. The books have been prepared in Russian and Persian in accordance with the modern structure of literary disciplines studies, and complement the theoretical courses “Persian literature” and “The History of Iranian literature”. The books contain a description of major stages of the formation and development of Persian prose and poetry in the 20th-21st centuries, provide information on Iranian prose writers and poets, their creative legacy and their role in the literature of the abovementioned period.
The two-volume book was prepared by a group of Russian and Iranian scholars, which includes M. N. Akhmedova (KFU), A. M. Nigmatullina (KFU), M. Raghib (Beheshti University, IRI – prose), S. M. Tabatabai (Beheshti University, IRI – poetry).
The textbooks are intended for teachers, undergraduate and graduate students of Persian language and literature.
