A Unique gift edition of the Quran translation has recently been published with the support of the Ibn Sina foundation.
The Quran represents an indisputable authority for all Muslims, no matter what school of thought or teaching they follow. Therefore, it is hard to overestimate the significance of this unique edition of the Holy Book in Russian being presented in the libraries. The Arabic text was divided into 365 pages for daily reading and was written using a font designed by a famous calligrapher of Syrian origin, Usman Taha. Published in Russia for the first time, the book features a translation of meanings prepared by the experts of Ibn Sina foundation.
The gift edition of the Quran was prepared by the Sadra publishing house and was printed in Iran on special patterned paper. Each page is decorated with floral ornaments and saturated with fragrance. The book is kept in a leather case and can be taken out by pulling the satin ribbon.
The edition has been approved by the Holy Quran Centre in Tehran, Iran.
