With the support of the Ibn Sina Foundation, the Sadra publishing house will take part in the International Intellectual Literature Fair «Non/fictio№ Spring». The event will take place on 6-9 April at Gostiny Dvor. The Sadra publishing house will present its editions at the booth B-7.
The following books will be showcased: “Stories on the History of Zaydite Thought in the 7th-11th Centuries” by F.O. Nofal (“Philosophical Thought in the Islamic World” series), the collection of articles “The History and Anthropology of Music in the Muslim World: Regional Traditions” (edited by T.M. Jani-zade). The visitors will also be able to see and purchase earlier editions and reeditions of books that have provied quite popular with readers, such as the novel “Her I” by R. Amir-Khani, collection of articles “Islamic Economics” (edited by S. Babenkova), “The History of Islamic Philosophy” and “The Man of Light in the Iranian Sufism” by H. Corbin, “Libya. Where is the country of 140 tribes going?” by M.F. Vidyasova, a monograph “The World of Meanings in a Few Words: Philosophical Views of Mahmud Shabistari in the Context of the Times” by A.A. Lukashev, “Way of Eloquence” by Imam Ali, “Treatise on Calligraphers and Artists” by Kazi Ahmad b. Husain al-Husaini Kumi, “Values and Principles of Islamic Economy” (edited by V. Avtonomov).
Three presentations are expected to take place at the publisher’s stand on April, 7:
13:00 – Presentation on “Essays on the History of Zaidi Thought in the 7th – 11th Centuries” (F.O. Nofal);
14:00 – Presentation on “The History and Anthropology of Music of the Muslim World: Regional Traditions” (T.M. Jani-zade);
15:00 – Presentation of the first issue of “Ishrak”, an Islamic Philosophy journal (A.A. Lukashev).

Non/fictio№ Spring is a new format for the established non/fictio№ fair. From 2023 onwards the fair will be held twice a year, in April and December.
