An event devoted to variety of languages in Iran was held at the Centre of Oriental Literature of the Russian State Library on the 16th of February.
A Persian language philologist, a senior lecturer at the Department of Iranian Philology of the Institute of Asian and African Countries of Lomonosov Moscow State University Anna Viktorovna Gromova delivered a lecture “Languages of Iran: Linguistic Variety in the Modern Multiethnic State”, thus opening a thematic cycle of lectures on languages in different regions of the world.
The event was organized and held in the framework of collaboration between the Centre of Oriental Literature of the Russian State Library, the Institute of civilizations and Ibn Sina Foundation.
