Exhibition of сalligraphy and Iranian miniature “Art as a Bridge” in Kazan

Dear friends! “Hazineh” Gallery of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, the General Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazan and Ibn Sina Foundation kindly invite you to visit an exhibition of calligraphy and Iranian miniature “Art as a Bridge”. At the exhibition you can see the best samples of Iranian calligraphy and miniature: artworks by a miniaturist Reza Badr al-Sama and an artist decorator Lira Suleiman.

Iranian visual art embodied in calligraphy and miniatures is an important and precious part of the world art and culture. It has its history, philosophy, its own language of symbols and images. Honing their skills, artists working in Iranian tradition used to create masterpieces and to perpetuate images and narratives, words and its meanings. 

We invite you to get acquainted with this heritage represented by contemporary artworks. The exhibition will take place from the 2nd to the 7th of April 2024 at “Hazineh” National Gallery of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The address is: Kazan, Sheinkman street, 12. An opening ceremony will be held on the 2nd of April 2024 at 16.00. The entrance is free. Welcome!

The exposition organized by the General Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazan with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation is dedicated to the last week of the Holy month of Ramadhan on the eve of Uraza Bairam holiday.
