On the 14th of May Anna Viktorovna Gromova, the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Iranian Philology of the Institute of Asian and African Countries of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, delivered a lecture “An Appetizing Persian: the Contemporary Gastronomic Culture of Iran and its Reflection in the Language”. The report was dedicated to borrowings of gastronomic vocabulary in the contemporary Persian language.
The event was organized and held in the framework of the cooperation between the Centre of Oriental Studies of the Russian State Library and Ibn Sina Foundation.
