The documentary “Written Heritage” created in 2024 by a film director Emir Valinejad with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation won the award of the XXXIII International Film Forum “Golden Knight” in the nomination of camera work.
In 2024 the Film Forum took place in the city of Omsk. 165 films from Serbia, Russia, Iran, Germany, France, Syria, Bulgaria, Turkey, Belarus, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, China, Japan, etc. took part in the festival.
The film “Written Heritage” is dedicated to Persian manuscripts. It tells about the art of Iranian calligraphy, the technology of creating paper and books, about specific features of the content and spreading Iranian manuscripts in Russia.
In 2023 the film “The Dot” that had been also created with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation received an award in the nomination of “Short Documentaries” and became the one of three best films at the XXXII Moscow Film Forum “Golden Knight”. The International Film Forum “Golden Knight” is an annual film festival of spiritual cinema founded in 1992 by Nikolai Petrovich Burlyaev, an actor and a People’s Artist of Russia, under the slogan of “Supporting Spiritual Ideals and Elevation of Human Soul”.
