A lecture “In the silence of gardens: specific features of translating Persian fiction and journalism into Russian” delivered by A.S. Besedina in Saint Petersburg

On the 16^th of July Alexandra Sergeevna Besedina delivered a lecture “In the silence of gardens: specific features of translating Persian fiction and journalism into Russian” in Saint Petersburg with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation. She spoke on grammatical, lexical and cultural aspects of translation Persian fiction and specific points that should been taken into account by a translator from Persian language.  

Alexandra Sergeevna Besedina is an interpreter who graduated from the Oriental Faculty of the Saint Petersburg State Universtity (programs “Iranian Philology” and “Literature of Asian and African Peoples”).
