On the 8th of August 2024 the documentary “The Dot” by Emir Valinejad was screened in the framework of an Open Air Film Festival in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk with the assistance of the international media network TV BRICS. The film was created by Ibn Sina Foundation. It is dedicated to the art of Islamic calligraphy. The documentary got participant’s certificate.
“The Dot” documentary was created by the filmmaker Emir Valinejad in 2020. The film participated in various Russian and international film screens, concourses and festivals. It won the awards at the XXXII Moscow Film Festival “The Golden Knight” and the International Concourse “VIVA 2020”. It also took part in the Film Festival “RAM 2022” in Rovereto and got participant’s certificate of the XXI National Award “The Laurelle Branch”.
