Films by Ibn Sina Foundation screened at the Library of Foreign Literature

On the 24th of August two documentaries by Emir Valinejad (“The Dot” and “Written Heritage”) that had been created with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation were screened at the Library of Foreign Literature in the framework of the program “Nights of Cinema”. The films cover the issue of the Iranian calligraphy, it’s foundations, philosophy, images, as well as the process of creating manuscripts.

The documentary “The Dot” won different Russian and international awards at various film screens and festivals. This, it won awards at the XXXII Moscow Film Festival “Golden Knight” and the international concourse “VIVA 2020”; it also participated in the Film Festival “RAM 2022” in Roberto and got the certificate of a participant of the XXI National Award “Laurel Branch”.

The documentary “Written Heritage” got a diploma for the best camera work of the XXXIII International Film Forum “Gilden Knight” in 2024.
