On the 4th of September 2024 A.D. Pritula delivered a lecture “Isfahan as a City of the Classical Persian Culture” at the Library of National Literatures. The exhibition of “Sadra”‘s books and miniatures by an Iranian artist Badr al-Sama was also held in the framework of the event.
Isfahan is the city of art and architecture where Iranian traditions of visual arts are embodied in stones and ornaments. Craftsmen, artists, merchants used to work at this city where masters of literature created their masterpieces and worshippers found shelter. Anton Dmitrievich Pritula, who is a Doctor of Philological Sciences, the leading research scholar of the Department of the East of the State Hermitage, a professor and the leading research scholar the Institute of the Classical East and Antiquity of the National Research Institute “The Hight School of Economics”, spoke on the history and culture of Isfahan.
The event was organized and held in the framework of collaboration between Ibn Sina Foundation and the Library of National Literatures.
