“Sadra” Publishing House published the new fiction book “Ten Years in Afghanistan: the Essays of a Russian Woman on Afghanistan”.
This is the story of Yulia Mitenkova from Moscow who married a son of an Afghani politician in 1990-s and lived in Afghanistan and Iran ten years. She gives a possibility to get acquainted with innate life of the Afghani society in 1994-2004-s through the eyes of an ordinary Russian girl who witnessed historical events after the withdrawal of the Soviet troops from Afghanistan.
The book contains a lot of colourful photos from the personal archive of Yulia Mitenkova.
