On the 20 of November during his visit to Kazan the President of Ibn Sina Foundation Hamid Hadavimoghaddam signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with the Kazan Orthodox Spiritual Seminary.
In his ceremonial speech Mr. Hamid Hadavimoghaddam noted that in fact the cooperation with the Seminary has been actively developed for a long time, and that the first result of this collaboration is the newly published treatise “The Comparison between the Muslim Teaching on Divine Names and its Christian Understanding” by G.S. Sablukov.
The Foundation presented a part of this important theological work circulation to the Seminary as a gift. The partners agreed on continuing the joint work in the area of educational programmes.
The Kazan Orthodox Spiritual Seminary is the oldest higher theological educational institution of the Kazan diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. It prepares candidates for ordination to the priesthood as well as specialists on the Orthodox theology, church choir directors, catechists and missionaries.
