On the 5 of December 2024 a presentation of the book series “Edifying Literature of the Saljukid Era: Originals and Fakes” took place at BRICS+ Media Center. The event was held by the author of the three books of the series Alexey Alexandrovich Khismatullin who is the senior research scholar of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
In his speech the author paid a special attention to his latest work, namely the first part of “Three Texts from Saljukid Provinces…” Mr. Khismatullin also spoke on the process of creating two other parts of the series: “Amir Mu’izzi Nishapuri…” and “The Writings of Imam al-Ghazali”.
The series “Edifying Literature of the Saljukid Era: Originals and Fakes” was created in 2017 with the assistance of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Ibn Sina Foundation.
