The fourth full-time offline advanced course on the Islamic Art took place in Iran

The full-time offline advanced course on the Islamic Art was held from the 10 up to the 19 of November 2025 in Tehran and Esfahan. It was arranged by Ibn Sina Foundation together with the Islamic Culture and Art Research Center in order to advance competencies of Russian university teachers and scholars, as well as to acquaint them with multiple Iranian scientific sources and the results of contemporary research works.

11 specialists in the area of Islamic and Iranian Studies with scientific degrees were chosen from more than 40 applicants for participation in this educational program.

The program of the course included various lectures on the following items: the history of the Islamic Revolution, the development of philosophy in Iran, Islamic architecture, introducing the practice of ta’ziyeh. As well, numerous cultural events including screening films, excursions to scientific and cultural centers were also held in the framework of the program.

This is the fourth advanced offline full-time course held with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation in cooperation with Iranian scientific and educational centres especially for research scholars and university teachers from Russia.
