“Sadra” publishing house took part in the X Book Festival “Red Square” with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation for the eighth time. The anniversary tenth festival took place in the center of the Russian capital since the 6th up to the 9th of June 2024.
A wide specter of “Sadra”’s literature including new books that had been issued in 2024 and those editions that couldn’t be found in magazines was presented at the non/fiction zone. The most interesting books that attracted visitors were a tourist guide “The Touristic Iran”, “From Cyrus the Great to Ayatollah Khomeini” by A.B. Gromov, a two-volume “Healing and Theology” by Ibn Sina and the third edition of “The World of Islamic Mysticism” by A. Schimmel.
An award ceremony based on the results of competition arranged by the Association of Russian Book Publishers took place at the end of the festival. Ibn Sina Foundation and “Sadra” received diplomas from the Central Religious Organization “The Spiritual Association of Muslims of Russia” for the books “Basics of Islamic Mysticism. Genesis and Evolution” by I.R. Nasyrov and “The World of Islamic Mysticism” by A. Schimmel.
