On the 24th of June Alisa Yurievna Belenko, a master of jurisprudence, a research scholar and publicist, delivered a lecture “Family and inheritance law of muslim countries: from fiqh to codification” at the Centre of Oriental Literature of the Russian State Library. In her lecture she spoke about the role of Muslim family and inheritance law in the countries of the Middle East and abroad.
The event was organized and held in the framework of cooperation between the Centre of Oriental Literature of the Russian State Library, Ibn Sina Foundation and the Institute of Civilizations.
