I.R. Nasyrov’s monograph “Ibn Khaldun in the Ottoman Historiography” is out of print

Another book has been added to the series “Philosophical Thought in the Islamic World” — “Ibn Khaldun in the Ottoman Historiography” by the leading researcher of the RAS Institute of Philosophy. This book is dedicated to the reception of the teachings of the Arab historian Ibn Khaldun (1332-1406) in the Ottoman historiography. The work explores the views of the representatives of this school of Muslim historiography on society and the state, as well as their concepts of the historical development of society, based on a number of key principles of Ibn Khaldun’s teachings.

The series “Philosophical Thought in the Islamic World” was founded by the Ibn Sina Foundation and the RAS Institute of Philosophy in 2009 and currently includes 22 editions.
