Results of Ibn Sina Foundation’s participation in the 32nd Moscow International Book Fair at VDNKh

The 32 Moscow International Book Fair, which lasted for 5 days and occupied the Pavilion 75 at VDNKh, finished on 8 September. Over 400 publishers from 33 countries attended the event, which was marked with over 600 meetings with authors and presentations.

The Ibn Sina Foundation presented its books at the Moscow International Book Fair for the 10th time, and it was for the 8th time that it presented its editions together with the Sadra publishing house.

The booth of the Sadra publishing house attracted attention of many readers. It was also visited by such distinguished guests like Oleg Akulinichev (president of the Omar Khayyam Cultural and Literary Association); Alexandr Andryushkin (prose writer, book reviewer, translator of the “Ismail”, “The last Salar”, “Journey to altitude 270”, “Her I”, “The victims of the Sacred Garden”, “Chess with the Doomsday Machine” novels and “The light of love and faith” collection), Aida Soboleva (journalist) and others.

Among the presented books, the following editions turned out to be the most popular ones: “Algeria at a crossing of three roads” by M.F.Vidyasova and V.V. Orlov, “Libya. Where is the country of 140 tribes going?” by M.F. Vidyasova, “Iran in the context of new geopolitical realities (for the 40th anniversary of the Iranian revolution)”, edited and compiled by E.V.Dunayeva, “Persia: the history of undiscovered land” by A.B. Gromov and S.N. Tabai, “Persian literature of 9th-18th centuries. In 2 Volumes. Vol.1 Persian literature of the Mongolian period (9th – early 13th centuries). Canon formation: early classics” by M.L. Reisner and A.N. Ardashnikova, “The Persian language: economics. Study guide for senior students” by N.A. Potapova.
