Ibn Sina Foundation to present its new books at NON/FICTION fair on 7 December

The Ibn Sina Foundation will present its new editions during the non/fiction International book fair on 7th December at the Literary café of the Gostiny Dvor.

While in 2018 the new editions of the Foundation mostly contained historical books, the year 2019 was marked by the publication of the art book series on(“The unity of beauty”) and numerous books on philosophy (“Panhuman vs. Universal” by A.V.Smirnov, “The philosophy of music. Theory and practice of the maqam art” by G.B. Shamilli, “Morteza Motahhari — a thinker of action” by M.Iqbal (English translation, introduction and annotations by M.T.Stepanyants”), “The world of meaning in few words. Mahmud Shabistari’s philosophical views in the context of the times” by A.A. Lukashev and others). The presentation will be attended by scholars, researchers, professors of the leading Russian universities, as well as the authors and editors of the published books.

The book fair of the 21st non/fiction season will take place from 5 to 9 December 2019 in Gostiny Dvor at the following address: Ilyinka st., 4, Moscow. The fair participants include 300 publishing houses from 24 countries, with Israel being the main guest of this year.

The event programme, which focuses on the major events of the book industry, includes workshops and roundtable sessions with the participation of famous writers. The readers will have the opportunity to get to know about new books and to attend the presentations of unique editions.
