On the 17th of April an opening ceremony of calligraphy and Iranian miniature exhibition “Art as a Bridge” took place at the Kazan State Institute of Culture. The exhibition was organized by the General Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazan with the assistance of Ibn Sina Foundation.

63 works by Iranian masters of calligraphy Reza Badr al-Sama and Nasser Tawousi were presented to exhibition’s guests.

The General Consul of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dawoud Mirzakhani and the Rector of the Kazan State Institute of Culture Roza Shaikhaidarovna Ahmadieva spoke at the opening ceremony. The TV channel “Vesti Tatarstan” prepared a video about the event.

The exhibition of calligraphy and Iranian miniature “Art as a Bridge” will last at the Kazan State Institute of Culture up to the 24th of April.
